File Conversion Request


If you like the idea of using TNTEdit, but don't want or have time to convert author files yourself, you can send Technologies 'N Typography a File Conversion Request. Send the files, along with the file conversion request form, and TNT will convert your existing files to TNTEdit.

Creating a File Conversion Request

  1. From the TNTEditorial menu, select TNT Utilities > File Conversion Request

  2. A File Conversion Request document is created for you to fill out:

  3. Date & Printout

    The current date is automatically supplied, fill in the date you need the files returned by and whether or not you require a printout of the converted files.

    Publisher Information

    Fill in as much of the information about the manuscript as possible

    Computer Equipment

    Provide information on what kind of system the files were created on, which operating system is being used on the system, and what software was used to generate the files

    Document Information

    Does the document contain footnotes and/or endnotes? Tables? Mathematical notation or equations? Special Characters? Should any handwritten notes from the author's printout be inserted into the electronic document? Are handwritten table and art placement notes be inserted into the file? Use the additional instructions fields for other instructions and information.
