Line Space keymarks are used to keymark an empty line used to provide space between paragraphs, such as between stanza breaks in a verse extract..

Applying Line Space Keymarks

1. Insert a new paragraph by pressing the Enter key or place the insertion point on a paragraph that contains no text.

2. From the right mouse menu choose Spaces. The Spaces right mouse menu appears:



3. Choose the line space keymark you want to apply:

1/2LS for a half line of space in the text 1LS for a full line of space

Space Breaks

Space Break keymarks are used by designers to identify a gap of space placed in the text. A space break may contain an ornament or be followed by small caps or some other design element.

Applying a Space Break Keymark

1. Insert a new paragraph by pressing the Enter key or place the insertion point on a paragraph that contains no text.

2. From the right mouse menu choose Spaces. The Spaces right mouse menu appears:
